Preeclampsia is a type of hypertension and multiple organ involvement syndrome that occurs after 20 weeks of pregnancy. It seriously affects the health of mothers and children, and can have long-term adverse effects on two generations of mothers and children. In order to improve preeclampsia Awareness, Global Maternity Health Organization since 2017, May 22 of each year has been designated as World Preeclampsia Day.
