Hypertension in pregnancy is a unique disease during pregnancy. It is more common after 20 weeks of pregnancy. It is mainly manifested as increased blood pressure. In severe cases, it is accompanied by failure of multiple vital organs throughout the body, including coma, convulsions, cerebral hemorrhage, and heart and kidney failure. It can even cause the death of mother and baby. According to relevant statistics, the incidence of hypertension during pregnancy in my country is 9.4%-10. 4%, and its prevention and treatment have now attracted clinical attention. It is worth noting that the pathogenesis of hypertension in pregnancy has not been fully elucidated, and the lack of targeted and effective intervention programs has led to varying degrees of damage to pregnant women and newborns, increasing the risk of death.

Hypertension in pregnancy

Lead to adverse pregnancy and perinatal outcomes

In this context, the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University selected 205 inpatients and divided them into 3 groups, including 67 cases of pregnancy-induced hypertension (pregnancy hypertension group), 73 cases of preeclampsia (preeclampsia group), and severe eclampsia 65 cases of preeclampsia (severe preeclampsia group). The adverse pregnancy outcomes and adverse perinatal outcomes of the three groups were statistically compared and analyzed to analyze the complications of hypertension during pregnancy and their effects on maternal and infant outcomes, in order to provide reference for clinical diagnosis and treatment.

The study statistics show the incidence of adverse pregnancy outcomes and the incidence of adverse perinatal outcomes in the three groups, as shown in the following table.

It can be seen that the worse the severity of hypertension during pregnancy, the higher the incidence of adverse maternal and infant outcomes.

In summary, hypertension in pregnancy affects the outcome of mothers and infants. The principles of early diagnosis, early detection, and early treatment should be followed in clinical practice to delay the progression of the disease and improve the outcome of mothers and infants.
